Our Vision is to serve as a resource to communities that have limited access and exposure to the performing arts.

HISTORY

Formerly Quantum Leaps Dance, Ursula Smith Dance Organization was established in 2009 as a 501c3 nonprofit organization with the purpose of serving the community at large by providing innovative programing and access to the performing arts.. The Ursula Smith Dance Organization has played a major role in the transformation and elevation of Birmingham’s communities by providing quality dance education, dance productions, and cultural enrichment dance programs.The organization is dedicated to addressing the dwindling or non-existent programs for the performing arts in local communities and schools.
